Krishna Janmashtami – the birth of Lord Krishna, the eighth avatar of Lord Vishnu, was celebrated by conducting a special assembly performed by students of Std IV. The assembly began with shlokas recited in the praise of Lord Krishna as the Universal Guru. The children thereafter performed a role play to show the birth of Lord Krishna. This was followed by some scintillating dance performance. The Pre Primary section also celebrated the festival. The toddlers dressed themselves as Radha & Krishna and participated in the Dahi Handi.
